I love Tom’s Substack and his notes are divine and often hilarious. I’m about 3/4 of the way through his book Villager and looking forward to getting stuck into Notebook, then it will be 1983!
Chez Hanny by
Finding creative rhythm and throwing out the career rule book. Writing and podcasting on creative career change, interior design and living a multi-hyphenate life.
Top post this summer: Could you thrive on less?
It started with a pair of earrings that I’m wearing right now. I came across Hannah on notes and then dove straight into her Substack. She was playing around with polymer clay and made some really cool earrings, I managed to snag myself a pair.
Substack Type Club by

Top post this summer: Grow your Substack with Type Club – July
Kate makes me laugh a lot plus we’ve met on Zoom for a Substack geek-out which was so much fun. This stack is proving invaluable for me in upping my Substack game, plus its a great community to ask all the stupid questions and muse on what might and might not work.

You can see your own summer recap in the Substack app. At first it didn’t pop up, but then as if by magic there it was, so don’t be put off if it hasn’t popped up for you yet 🧡
It always makes me so happy when I see a writer I enjoy on one of these! The villager by Tom Cox is one of those writers. Thank you for sharing:)
I need to look out for mine, I’m curious to read my statistics and I’m all for Kate’s community I love it and the weekly challenges she sets.
